Who's going to win? I hope Infantino (anyone but Sheikh Salman tbh).

I want Infantino to win as well because he's the most experienced out of all of them but the other one jerome champagne is also a nice guy and he worked in fifa. The 2 sheiks know a little about football and 1 of them committed a crime. The RSA guy is funny but he has no chance to win

is it mandatory to have a name straight out of a pynchon book if you want to run for president?

Whoever wins will just be a stopgap until Figo saves us all next election, though the best [read: least shit] option I think would be Champagne; Infantino's too closely tied to Platini as are the Arabs.

Infantino's done a great job with UEFA though, that's why I want him in.
Maybe he will be the man to finally give Oceania a guaranteed World Cup spot.

Sexwale's pulled out, announced it today.
Prince Ali wouldn't be a bad candidate either though tbh.

Maybe he will be the man to finally give New Zealand a guaranteed World Cup spot.
why?
It would only be justified if he were to expand the competition to 40 or 48 teams, neither of which themselves are necessary.

The world Cup would be complicated with 40-48 teams but on the other hand it'll be good because countries that can play good football such as, New Zealand, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Paraguay or Ireland find it hard to qualify through eliminations

group stages of 5 [As in the rugby world cup] or 6 teams I'd presume. Problem is it'd draw out the competition too long because inevitably the TV companies would want as few matches played concurrently as possible.

Because there should be a representative from each federation.Rénbeaudach wrote:corn wrote:Infantino's done a great job with UEFA though, that's why I want him in.

Let the 31st spot go directly to the winners of the Oceanian confederation and let those that qualify for the playoffs in Asia, North America and South America go head to head in a mini tournament in a neutral venue (Europe somewhere).
