May I say, these techniques are all about the timing and knowing WHEN to use em, if passing is the easier option then that is the BEST option. Doing too much will result in failure, trust me I know.
If you are losing, with 40 seconds left which is enough time for 1 or maybe 2 more attacks, using any of these skills when you can pass is absurd. These tekks are to be taken as a last resort, meaning when the standard pass or block and wait is not a viable option.
I've done my research lads, tiki taka > solo skills
Aight have fun.
The Grasshopper Kick:
The Naho:
Triple Tap:
Vertical Barrel-Roll:
ZeroLift:
Whip:

The Grasshopper Kick:
- Spoiler:
- A variation of The Rocket. Instead of straight up running to the wall, you do the Sway Lift, which is followed by a body tilt towards the goal and then pressing x. Should all happen withing the span of 1 second.

Grasshopper Kick
The Naho:
- Spoiler:
- A technique performed in your own half's corner to break the opponents ankles and leave them admiring the wall as you sail forth to an empty net. It uses a timed, wide-angled rocket to pass the opponent.

The Naho
Triple Tap:
- Spoiler:
- As easy as it may sound, it is really effective, especially in counterattacks. If used properly, it can widen up your pass ing options, as well as make the opposition go out of position. It is performed by lifting the ball, using either the top or bottom wall, and following it up with an immediate x, which brings it back down to the wall. For pub rooms, this is enough to get past them, but for leagues one final lift is required. It is not a technique used to necessarily "beat" the defender but to get out of their zone of defence. Practise is required as pressing x too early on the second tap will result in a sloppy uncontrollable final lift, which could work against you.
Triple Tap
Vertical Barrel-Roll:
- Spoiler:
- It is exactly the same as the normal one. I really hope you know what the normal one is. To perform, you need space in the corner of the opposition's goal. The defenders will usually start to get the timings for your backpasses after a few minutes of gameplay and this is the ideal time to use it if the opportunity presents itself. Doing it in one fell swoop is the best way, without hesitation. Seriously. Don't. Hesitate.
There are two times where you can perform this trick and get away with it.
1st) You reach the corner before the following defender but he is too close to try to pass or shoot yourself.
2nd) The defender tries to read your back pass and moves towards your DM or GK, depending on whether it is 3s or 4s.
If the ball is on the bottom wall you must carefully adjust it so that it lifts off of the wall, now run to the vertical wall connected to the goal post and aligning yourself with the wall press x, turning yourself out of the pitch. Doing so will allow you to momentarily pass directly to the other attacker (AM or ST) given that they have kept their positioning in the box. Alternatively you can pass back to the DM and not give up your possession of the ball.Vertical Barrel Roll
ZeroLift:
- Spoiler:
- Can be performed so long as you are next to a wall. If your teammate decides to pass directly to you at kick-off or during the game, and a defender comes running at you with the intention of breaking your legs, you simply let the ball hit the wall and watch as they pass by. It's not that easy though, you must make it seem as though you are trying to do something, and at the last minute stand back.
Whip:
- Spoiler:
- Performed by initially running to the wall, either the top or bottom, and turning towards your OWN goal side but as the ball makes contact with the wall, you turn towards their goal side and press x AND the up arrow key, to perform a whip like motion in which the ball almost looks like it has been glued to you. Ideal for 1v1's, have yet to try in a 3s or 4s match.
