The confirmed 23. Townsend, Drinkwater and Delph have been cut from the squad.

Only reason I can give for Rashford's inclusion is Sturridge's fitness, and you obviously can't cut a player of Danny's quality if he could be fit for the tournament. Aside that I think Marcus too raw and will have no impact on the game.

Drinkwater I would've taken over Henderson or Barkley but I can't really complain too much.

Stones is in the squad but if he plays like he did against Australia then he'll be fine.

Well I just think that Wilshere is a more complete player than Drinkwater. Drinkwater's alright but I don't think he's great, certainly not better than Barkley anyway.

And as for Drinkwater, glad he's not going. Shit attitude as far as I'm concerned. When Ashley Cole was told he wasn't going to Brazil his response was to wish Roy and the lads good luck and that's the attitude I want to see from our players. Kevin Nolan as well, who should have gotten a cap, just got on with it, never complained, never showed his bottom lip, never went to the media to rant, just went on with his business and tried to win games for his team and impress onlookers. So Drinkwater is better than Wilshere is he? In his own deluded opinion maybe. 0 England caps stays it all.
