It's a very tough group imo. Wales are a very tough team. Bale alone is a matchwinner, then they have Ramsey who can control the game, Williams who is a leader and a rock at the back and Wayne Hennessey in goal, a very underrated keeper who will be tough to beat. Then we have a Leonid Slutsky managed Russia team and an unknown quantity in Slovenia who beat Spain in qualifying I believe; certainly no pushovers.

Slovakia were very good indeed in their first six games in qualifying but began to look rather laboured afterwards, and nearly threw away a three goal lead in Luxembourg for goodness' sake, though like Wales they do have two or three players that would get into England's side (Hamsik obviously, maybe also Skrtel and Kucka).
On Wales I'd re-iterate the point I already made, apart from in the matches against Belgium and the away game against Israel they haven't really looked genuinely impressive, or at last not as impressive as people have been making them out to be. Aside from Bale they really lack a finisher capable at this level, and he's not really even a natural centre-forward. While their defence has probably been the department in which they've been most consistently solid, their midfield, although capable of brilliance at times, has also struggled to control games in terms of both possession and consitently creating quality chances, both their games against Cyprus should provide a reference for them letting teams into the game who really they ought not to be having too many problems against at all.
That said it is definitely a favourable draw for both England and Wales and I'd expect both to progress to the knockout stages; with the way the groups have been paired off it might not be until the quarterfinals that England are properly tested.
Oh and Predictions
Group A
1. France
2. Switzerland
3. Albania
4. Romania
Group B
1. England
2. Wales
3. Slovakia
4. Russia
Group C
1. Germany
2. Ukraine
3. Poland
4. Northern Ireland
Group D
1. Spain
2. Czech Republic
3. Croatia
4. Turkey
Group E
1. Italy
2. Belgium
3. Ireland
4. Sweden
Group F
1. Austria
2. Portugal
3. Iceland
4. Hungary
Not sure on exactly which will be the best 4 3rd placed teams, but if I were to guess I'd say Albania might only manage two draws and drop out, similarly either Ireland or Iceland I think would only manage 2 or 3 points.

this tournament is fixed. group A has the easiest route to the final and group E has a significantly harder route.
