I read often and over this summer i´ve read most of Dan Brown´s books (author of The Da vinci code). Really good writer, best in da world

Plato - Phaedrus and also Plato's Symposium. Both very interesting reads - though you may need a dictionary handy and a critical mind to really grasp the concepts that are being thrown your way.
EDIT
An understanding of the history of logic and logic in its many forms will also help quite a bit as the definitions you may find are not as they are employed within the context of the book.
