Best 5 players from yesterday
Tue Jul 21 2015, 10:01
After watching all of yesterdays matches I have come up with my top 5 players of match day 1. But first, here are 4 honourable mentions.

Number 5...Lloyd BANKS (ANDALE)
Lloyd BANKS had originally grabbed the winner in the first second half, but after much controversy the half was replayed, and against all odds Wood Berry had stormed into a 2-0 lead against the league favourites. After great play from the post to hold off dirty diver, Lloyd was able to slot home into an empty net to put Andale back in the game, but it was his second goal that summed up his performance; gracefully letting the ball roll past him and around dirty diver to again slot home into an empty net. His all-round performance was deserving of his two goals and is a certain contender for top scorer.
Number 4...Yawn (Channel 3)
Yesterdays tight encounter between two sides very familiar with each other looked as if it would finish goalless, until a certain swede got his just desserts. He was the best player on the pitch, constantly winning the ball in midfield and pushing his team forward, always a threat and displayed incredible ball control throughout. Yawn has the quality to score against any team in the league, his goal wasn't spectacular but he will be happy he made the score sheet and would have been disappointed had he not. Der Twigg has done well to snatch the dynamic swede, expect more performance like this to come from Yawn .
Number 3...Holtby(Hot Shots)
Holtby was a player I came across when playing in public 3v3 rooms, and after seeing him play I was determined to make him my number 1. Against Maximus he showed his class, he was cool on the ball throughout which allowed his team mates to relax and enjoy the game. Holtby has great technical skill but what is most impressive is his tactical game in 3v3; highly skilled but very careful on the ball, he made the right passes and made space for his team mates. A clean sheet and 2 assists, Holtby is the ball playing GK everyone one wants in there teams and is a contender for top clean sheets.
Number 2...Jai(Cant Score)
Jai is considered as one of the best players in the UK and after his performance against Guard Dogs few would disagree. Jai was playing upfront alongside Mlfaijati in what looked like a natural partnership. Both players knew each others game as well as there own and there chemistry was spot on as they blew away a very good guard dogs side. Jai's all-round game is great, for someone who plays mostly in goal he was as good a striker as any yesterday. Involved in all 4 goals, his first a classic poachers after fine work from Mlfaijati down the wing, but looking back you notice his fine hold up play to prevent Stefan from rushing in, this allowed him to make the goal look as easy as he did. the second his cross in after taking two deflections, the third finished by mlf after jai's initial shot came off the inside of the post; one he will take much credit for. And finally scoring the 4th after Perkins failed to clear from mlfaijati. A fine performance with more to come im sure.
Number 1...Mlfaijati(Cant Score)
Scored 2 made 2, Mlfaijati is my top player of match day 1 after his master class against Guard Dogs. The first goal in the game between Cant score and Guard dogs is the pick of the bunch, Jai crosses from the left to Mlf but it is just in front of him, but in a split second the ball is back in the box after some magic down the right; mlfaijati fires the ball against the wall and into the corner before crossing it into the box when it comes back to him allowing Jai the simplest of finishes. His 2 goals are hardly spectacular but he is in the right place at the time. Rasmus will surely be stating J&M together against ANDALE as the two league favourites come together, and if ANDALE are not at 100%, expect mlfaijati to be on the score sheet again
So that's my top 5, remember this is my opinion and if you guys disagree let me know who your top 5 are

That 'TANZ Wanker' is Perkins though, he probably changed his name for the league game in order to avoid being recognised getting wrecked when people watched the replay.
