We've decided as a team, including Mad that we will take defwin vs Deja.

We had been fs for hours and 1 minute before KO we were asked if we could postpone/ loan a player. It was their choice to have signed only 4 active players and not to have wildcarded the game.

Ofc u are right that u can take a defwin!
BUT
If u argue like " if u dont sign active players" it shows me that u think that your team is active AND a active team can play 1 hour fs also if there is no match. But u probably also could have seen that the team wasnt online with 3 players and i also have seen teams that take latewildcards for their opponents, bcz an active team doesnt need wildcards. Imo in special in a kind of very friendly league like premhax teams shouldnt be to harsh with eachother. Ofc u can say they dont care and dont respect us (if its true or not) but not to accept a latewildcard is imo a part of disrespect too.

I can only suggest to play this match bcz every team and player is here to play haxball.

what are you on about? you can't say 'no' if someone wants to wildcard a game. your team didn't turn up and that is only your fault - don't call them shit when you can't even get 3 players to play against them

normally im an advocate of avoiding as many defwins as possible, but it does leave a bitter taste in the mouth when you purposely don't sign someone in the last round of the draft and now you've wildcarded the first 2 games of the season - i'd have taken the defwin in this situation as well

Yeah and teams not turning up does really well to create a fun atmosphere for the league. And not signing a rookie player or whatever with your last pick because Stefan only wants to play with his friends really does promote a nice environment to play in.

I understand both teams could take equal blame, one for being not quite friendly and the other not wildcarding in time but, in the end, all this honourable attitude and being upset opponents didn't accept the game to be played a later date pretty much defeats the whole purpose of a wildcard.

If we're to use honour and accept all wildcards, even a late one, because it's friendly then we might as well not use wildcards at all.

There's not wildcarding in time (like 5 mins before the game) and then there's wildcarding the day after a match. The wildcard system works.

Was it really that hard for Stefan to log on to his phone for 2 mins to wildcard the game just in case? If it is then he shouldn't really be trusted to be a captain. If there was an emergency or whatever then that's ok but he should have made some sort of provision for the occasion where he isn't able to turn up.

Q says my decision as well but from what i heard about the situation i endorsed whatever decision my team wanted as i hadn't experienced it, a team vote was taken to my understanding and the team onviously felt that their time was wasted as people had cancelled plans to try to beat a top team in our division as expected. If stefan felt he had to try to make it he should have wildcarded in case or at least posted as early as possible.

In the case of an emergency or ping problems thats a viable late wildcard to me but for reasons people already stated it's down to the team management and captaincy to avoid these things.
